Cake, Flowers and Wishes from ARMY: Jimin's Birthday Was Celebrated in Chile Too
October 15, 2026
Jimin celebrated his 31st birthday on October 13, but the wishes didn't stop there! Just one day later, ahead of BTS's first concert in Santiago, another birthday surprise was waiting for him.
Before the concert, the production team prepared a cake and balloons for him. Among the gifts was a bouquet sent by his father, with a note reading “To my beloved son,” as translated by fans. j-hope shared part of the celebration on his Instagram Story, so ARMY got a peek at what was happening backstage.
The real birthday welcome was waiting for him at Estadio Nacional. Chilean ARMY prepared heart-shaped placards with birthday messages, and during the concert the stadium rang with Jimin's name. All that love in one place clearly moved him. In footage from the concert you can see him wiping away tears.
The night also brought two surprise songs, “Save ME” and “RUN.” A particularly fun moment came during “Save ME,” when Jungkook repeated Jimin's well-known move from the choreography, as if reminding everyone that nothing has changed. Anyone who remembers the old BTS performances will know right away what it was about.
After the concert BTS also released official photos from Santiago. Among them are some in which the members hold Jimin up in the air, so we got a few more cute keepsakes of his birthday.
Jimin had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, from birthday wishes to the surprise in Chile. Chilean ARMY made sure his first concert in Santiago became a continuation of the birthday celebration.
