Guide: customs and delivery
When you order from countries outside the European Union, like South Korea, your package can pick up customs duties and VAT on entry into Croatia, depending on its value. It's worth checking the shipping cost and any extra charges ahead of time, since a cheaper item with high postage and customs can end up costing more overall.
Shops within the EU usually don't come with these extra costs. Before ordering, always check the delivery cost to Croatia and the estimated delivery time.
How to spot official merch
Official BTS merch is issued by HYBE, and the safest place to buy it is the official Weverse Shop or from trusted resellers who guarantee authenticity.
For physical albums there's a specific trick: they carry a KOMCA sticker (the mark of the Korea Music Copyright Association) with a small hologram. Shine a flashlight on it at an angle and a tiny musical note should appear. It can be small and easy to miss, often on the edge of the sleeve or on the back, so if you don't spot it right away, take a good look before assuming it's fake.
For other merch, t-shirts, hoodies, and the like, the KOMCA sticker doesn't apply. Instead, check whether the product has a proper BIGHIT MUSIC / HYBE label with full manufacturer and importer details, not just a printed logo. Counterfeits often have blurrier printing, washed-out colors, and thinner material, and photocards are easy to compare against official previews, since the photo crop and color tone usually give away the difference.
Be cautious around very low prices and unfamiliar sellers, since the market has plenty of counterfeits, and if supporting the artists matters to you, stick to official and licensed products, since only those count toward official sales figures.
