Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
ARMY Adria is an independent, unofficial fan project dedicated to BTS, made out of love for the group, not for commercial purposes. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit, why, and how we keep it.
Who runs ARMY Adria
The site is currently run by one person, as an unofficial fan project, with no registered company behind it. If that changes in the future, we'll update this policy with full details of the data controller (name, address, contact), and the date at the top of the page will always make that clear.
Contact forms
When you reach out through the Get in touch form or submit a meetup on the Meetups page, what you enter (your email address if you provide one, your message, or the city, date, and description for a meetup) goes directly through the Web3Forms service, which forwards it to our private email. We don't store that data ourselves in a database, since the site has no backend that would allow it.
Web3Forms has its own privacy policy, available at web3forms.com/privacy.
We use your email address only to reply if needed. We don't send newsletters or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Account & profile
If you create an account, we collect your email, password (never in readable form, only hashed), a display name you choose yourself, and an avatar you pick from a preset set (no photo upload). Alongside that, we store your video playlist, named video playlists, and progress in games, tied to your account, so you don't lose them when switching devices.
We use that data only to make the site work as expected, nothing else. We don't share it with third parties and we don't sell it. You can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it (playlist, game progress) yourself, at any time, through account settings — no need to ask us.
Playlist (My List)
If you're building your video playlist without being logged in, that list is saved only in your browser (so-called localStorage), locally on your device, and will disappear if you clear your browser data for this site or switch devices.
If you're logged in, the playlist is additionally saved with your account, so you can find it on another device too. See the "Account & profile" section above.
Cookies and analytics
Like almost every website, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data (like an IP address or browser type) for security and to keep the site running properly. Beyond that, we use two kinds of cookies:
Essential cookies always run and don't need your consent, since the site wouldn't work as expected without them, for example the cookie that keeps you logged in.
Analytics (Google Analytics) only loads if you choose to allow it in the banner on your first visit. It helps us see roughly how many people visit the site and what content interests them most, with the IP address anonymized. Google processes this data outside the EU as well, under its own privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time via here or at the bottom of the page.
Ads and affiliate program
The Shop page already has affiliate links, clearly marked at the bottom of that page. We're planning to expand the affiliate program and eventually introduce ads to help cover the cost of running the site. Whenever that happens, we'll clearly state here which ad network we use and which cookies it sets, before anything goes live.
Embedded content (YouTube, Instagram)
We embed videos through the youtube-nocookie domain, which YouTube offers specifically to reduce the cookies it would otherwise set. Still, when you play a video or an Instagram post loads, Google or Meta respectively may load their own content and set their own cookies under their own policies, independent of us.
External links (Shop)
The Shop page contains links to outside shops, some of them affiliate links (clearly marked at the bottom of that page). When you click one, you leave our site, and that shop's privacy policy applies there, not ours.
Your rights
If you have an account, deletion is in your hands via account settings — it deletes everything at once (profile, playlist, game progress), no waiting on us. For anything else (e.g. a message sent through the contact form before you had an account), you can ask us at any time to delete it or send you a copy, via the contact form.
Children
The site isn't specifically aimed at children, but we're aware that part of the fandom is made up of younger fans. If you're under 16, creating an account (for playlist and game progress) requires a parent's or guardian's consent. Outside of accounts, we don't knowingly collect data from children under 16, other than what someone sends us themselves through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for instance if we change the contact form service. The date of the last change always appears at the top of this page.
