BTS arrives on Gemini, and it all starts with the number 7777

Google has launched four new interactive BTS experiences inside the Gemini app. Each one brings something different, from discovering the topics the members explore with Gemini to learning Korean, song recommendations, and following the tour.

The new experiences have been available since August 18, for a limited time and in select languages. To get in, just open Gemini on your phone or computer and type “Unlock BTS” or simply “7777”.

One of the experiences lets you peek at the real prompts BTS members have given Gemini, and the topics they've explored with its help. Google highlights RM's deep dives into culture and travel, and Jung Kook's interest in motorcycles, as examples.

There's also a game for guessing BTS songs. Gemini picks a track based on your mood, but instead of revealing the title right away, it gives you a string of emoji clues. It's up to you to guess which song it is.

Another option is especially fun while the ARIRANG tour is running. Gemini offers a daily roundup of BTS-related news and events from the past 48 to 72 hours, plus a schedule for the next two weeks, adjusted to your local time zone.

The fourth experience is for anyone who wants to learn Korean. Learn Korean with BTS offers practical phrases you can use in messages, online comments, and everyday conversation, complete with an audio pronunciation guide, and you can practice both speaking and writing.

To mark the launch, Google also filmed a separate video with each BTS member. RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook each show, in their own video, a different way they use Gemini and what interests them.

The experiences aren't available in every language yet. Supported languages include English, Korean, Indonesian, Japanese, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, Thai, Vietnamese, French, and German, and Google says Arabic support is coming soon.

If your language isn't supported yet, you'll need to switch Gemini to one that is. After that, just type 7777 or “Unlock BTS” and see what's hiding behind that number.
