Arirang is back in the Billboard Top 10 after the World Cup performance
July 26, 2026

Some albums burn out fast, and some simply refuse to leave. Arirang clearly belongs to the second group. The album climbed back into the very top tier of the US chart in late July, proving BTS's comeback wave is still going strong.
Billboard announced on July 26 that Arirang had re-entered the Top 10 of its main albums chart, jumping seventeen spots to number nine. That marked the album's eighteenth consecutive week on the chart, which alone says something about the release's staying power.
There are two reasons for the sudden jump. The first is the performance at the FIFA World Cup final, which gave the album a huge media boost. The second is the release of a special vinyl edition, a limited picture disc version HYBE put out to mark the thirteenth anniversary of their debut. According to data from analytics firm Luminate, the album moved around 40,000 units in the week ending July 23.
For an album that came out back in March, a summer comeback to the top like this shows just how well Arirang is still resonating with audiences.
