RM Makes an Important Request to ARMY Ahead of the Lima Concert
October 8, 2026

BTS played the first of three concerts in Lima on October 7, and just a few hours before the show RM posted an important message to ARMY on Weverse. The excitement over the group's arrival in Peru was huge, but RM wanted to draw attention to a problem the members and their team are facing on tour: the crowds and noise outside the hotel that make it hard for them to rest.
In his post, RM first wrote that it's his first time coming to Peru and that he's really excited and happy about it, and he thanked fans for the warm welcome and enthusiasm. Still, he explained that the gatherings outside the hotel are becoming a problem. Because of the noise day and night, the BTS members and their team are struggling to get any rest, and the situation affects other hotel guests as well.
RM warned that a lack of rest and sleep affects the performances they can give the audience. They want to give their best at every concert, but for that they need proper rest too.
His request wasn't only about Lima. He asked ARMY, almost begging, not to gather outside hotels at the next stops of the tour either, including Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and the Asian countries still ahead of them.
RM wasn't questioning the love and support BTS receives. On the contrary, he made it clear how much such a welcome means to them, but also how much he'd like their need for privacy to be respected just as much. He closed the message with trust in ARMY and a hope that together they can build a more mature relationship they can be proud of. He promised they'd give their all at that concert too, thanked everyone, and added in Spanish “Los amo,” meaning “I love you all.”
BTS and ARMY have had a special bond for years, and that's exactly why messages like this carry weight. RM didn't address the audience to call anyone out, but to explain what they need while on tour.
The excitement over BTS's arrival is completely understandable, especially where fans have been waiting for years. RM actually gave ARMY a simple way to show support: leave the members and the team in peace to rest, so that everyone can enjoy the concerts together.
