Get to Know Jin Through the Reality Show Kian’s Bizarre B&B

We're used to seeing Jin on big stages, under the spotlights and in front of thousands of people, and in Kian's Bizarre B&B we get a chance to get to know him a little more closely, in a more relaxed, everyday setting. That's exactly why we can enjoy his humor, his spontaneity, and that playfulness that makes him so lovely to watch even more. Netflix's Kian's Bizarre B&B is the right pick for days when you feel like watching something light, cheerful, and fun.

The idea is simple. On the remote island of Ulleungdo, Kian84 opens a rather peculiar B&B, and Jin and actress Ji Ye-eun join him as staff. They welcome guests, prepare their food, organize all sorts of activities, and try to keep up with Kian84's ideas, which often go in a completely unexpected direction.

Jin handles the whole thing just the way you'd expect. He adapts quickly, jokes around a lot, and very easily finds a way to turn even the most ordinary situation into something funny. There's no stage, choreography, or big spectacle, so we simply watch him spend his days with the others, react to Kian84's ideas, and go with whatever comes.

For Jin, this was his first project on Netflix, but also the kind of show he'd wanted to take part in for a while. He said he'd love to film a variety show simply because he enjoys it, not because he has something to promote. In Kian's Bizarre B&B, it's clear that the format truly suits him.

Behind the show is the team that also made Hyori's Bed & Breakfast, but here everything is a bit more unpredictable. Quiet moments on the island easily end in total chaos, and Kian84 regularly makes sure that neither the staff nor the guests get bored. The first season has nine episodes and was released in spring 2025.

In the meantime, a second season has come out, but without Jin, which makes the first one the season where we can watch him in this role. If you like the concept of the show, the second season brings more of Kian84's peculiar B&B.

For anyone who wants to get to know Jin a little better away from the stage and see how he copes in a completely different environment, Kian's Bizarre B&B is definitely worth watching. The whole show is available on Netflix.
