The company in that top five speaks for itself. Around Jimin are names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Selena Gomez, and Zendaya, some of the biggest stars in sports and entertainment. Ronaldo leads the ranking with almost 680 million followers, followed by Messi with over 500 million.

What makes Jimin's result especially interesting is that he has nowhere near that many followers, around 60 million, and still made it this high. The secret is that HypeAuditor doesn't measure follower count alone, but real influence: how many people actually react to posts, comment, share, and like. The platform also uses artificial intelligence to detect fake followers, so it rewards only authentic engagement. In other words, Jimin's high ranking means his audience genuinely responds, not just that it's large. It's worth noting that this isn't an official Instagram ranking, but an estimate by this specialized platform, and it changes from month to month.

It's even more impressive that he keeps up this influence without being constantly present. In September he posted only once, on September 13, and he still holds a spot at the top. It's also his second month in a row among the five most influential accounts in the world, after ranking fourth in August.

He isn't the only BTS member high on the list. Three of them made the top ten, as Suga and V also rank high alongside Jimin. It's a nice reminder that the group's reach has long stopped being tied to music alone and is felt just as strongly on social media.
